Whether it’s your first time fly fishing for trout, or you have been fly fishing for a lifetime, we can customize a trip for you, your friends or group. Gunnison County ranges in elevation between 6,000’ – 13,000’ and has over 1,000 miles of streams and rivers. Average summer temperatures rarely get in the 80’s, wonderful Rocky Mountain fishing weather. We offer ½ day, full day and multiple day fishing trips, we also offer a 2 hour beginner lesson on our stocked pond for you or your group. Our experienced and patient guides enjoy teaching beginners as well as lining the boat up just right for the experts.

Float Fishing Trips

The Gunnison River starts here on the property as well as many of our float trips. The public boat launch is across the street with several more public launch spots between the shop and Blue Mesa Reservoir 23 miles down stream.

Walk/Wade Fishing Trips

We guide our wade trips on several streams and rivers in the county depending on ability, flows, hatches and where the fishing is best. Half Day Trips average 3 ½ hours on the water. Full Day Trips are 7-8 hours and include a deli style lunch. All guided trips include rods, reels, waders and flies. By all means bring your favorite rod and luck fishing vest if you have them.
